Meet the Flemings! Here’s a little bit about them: Jenny is a used book dealer and she likes reading, crossfit, and shopping at the farmer’s market (me too!) Steve is a data analyst and he likes statistics. Both of them are incredible with their children, Eliza and Henry. Eliza loves reading, her friends, and their dog, Sirius Black. She dislikes shoes and keeps her sandals unbuckled as much as possible! Henry is curious and loves to learn about the way things work. He’s also super silly and likes being an airplane from time to time. Apparently a common theme in the household is Eliza trying to read while Henry does something distracting, so I enjoyed their idea to recreate this scenario courtesy of Henry’s blue ukelele!
In Jenny’s words, “We like to take the dog hiking at Walnut Creek and to go to potlucks and parties together. We spend time together at the dinner table, in the backyard, and sometimes at church. We don’t eat out much, but we like to go to Elevation Burger, Tarka, and Whole Foods. The kids love ice cream and candy (of course!)”
The Flemings bid and won a family session I donated to John Snyder’s silent auction and I’m so glad they did! Our session was playful, goofy, and relaxed, just how I like ’em! On Christmas morning, I hand-delivered their 3 mini albums, some of which became Christmas gifts. That was so rewarding and I loved watching them look through the books!
Their family reminds me a little of mine, minus the little brother, but I could tell they were a very special, close family that enjoys being in each other’s lives!
