I recently found a photo display I made in grade school for a school function, and I am just loving looking at all these old photos of me in one place! I think my favorite is the one with the SNAKE! That shot was taken at Crow’s Nest Farm when I was 8. Other than what my parents tell me, it was an animal farm experience like no other! I remember being in classrooms holding tarantulas and riding in the back of hay-filled trailers to feed the baby goats and hang out with the pigs. My favorite animal to interact with was the snake. I went back to Crow’s Nest Farm for three years and each time I got to hold a different snake! I also remember holding a boa constrictor with probably 15 other kids one year. They were just so different from the other animals at the farm, and it was cool holding animals that are generally regarded as dangerous and knowing they were actually totally cool.
Anyway, not a bad idea to make one of these with your kiddos so when they’re all grown up they can discover it, amiright? Do you have something like this to remind you of the good ol’ days, or do you rely on your photo albums?
