Tara and Ryan are from Louisiana! They’re already married but haven’t yet had the chance to celebrate their marriage with their families in a formal way due to deployment, so I’m very excited to capture that celebration next week at the beautiful Le San Michele in Buda. It’s always interesting when I schedule a session or wedding with a couple that I haven’t met in person, but Tara and Ryan are simply wonderful. Tara and I found ourselves chatting on the phone for an hour and the story of her and Ryan (which I’ll save for their wedding blog post) is truly inspiring. When I met them, I immediately noticed that they’re both warm, kind, fun, appreciative, and in love with their furry Corgi babies, Bailey and Luna (well, and each other)! I loved their vibrant energy and they’re beautiful smiles! For our engagement session, we’d been searching for a carnival, which let me tell you is hard to find sometimes! We had given up on the idea and had a plan B, but the afternoon of the session, a friend posted on Facebook about a carnival 7 minutes from my house. It seemed like it was meant to be! Tara is an actress so she really knew how to show me some love in front of the camera! Ryan did awesome, too. Bailey and Luna were the least cooperative, but who can blame them with tons of food smells and people running around? I’m glad we got at least one great shot of them. Also, isn’t Tara’s dress fantastic? And check out those gorgeous gams! We shot until it was dark and I really appreciate them sticking with me, even though they had been driving all day and still had so much more driving to do that night! What troopers.
Thanks to Tara for such an awesome idea to shoot at a carnival, and I’m so glad to know them and be there with them when they experience the love and joy of their family celebrating their marriage!
