Sidney and Scott’s Casa Blanca on Brushy Creek wedding was super pretty and smiley and seriously kick-ass and THE DANCING! Uhmygod!
Unless you know them personally, you’ll just have to take my word for it that this couple is the type that fills your heart up while making you crack up. Which is the best combo, and perfect for an ixi. I am charmed by Sidney’s adorable crinkly-eyed smile and Scott’s warm energy. They say that laughter was the foundation of their relationship, and they have NOT let me down yet. I know they will never run out of things to guffaw about, and their marriage will never be boring! They are totally best friends and I knew within seconds of meeting them that they respect and admire each other so much and are meant to be life partners. Even when it’s hard. Every wedding-day crisis that inevitably arose was handled with grace and plenty of humor; they always remembered what was really important, and laughing through it all helps heaps. I remember how Sidney’s family teased each other relentlessly while getting ready – these women would just not let each other off the hook, and it was hilarious. I remember Sidney forgetting her bouquet as she walked down the aisle. I mean, it didn’t really matter too much. But we made sure she got it anyway 🙂 I remember the wedding party’s cheesy/epic 80’s slatted sunglasses and the groomsmen’s coordinating socks. I remember Scott’s father dancing with Sidney because her father was only with her in spirit, and watching one of her sisters thanking him later through tears as he held her. The dance party was THE BEST – THE. BEST. I was not expecting such wicked moves and wild abandon. You really gotta see it. Keep reading to because I annotated the heck out of this post. For you.
Sidney and Scott, happy first anniversary!!! You are shiny, gorgeous souls and I can’t wait to laugh with you again.

This lovely charm was worn by Sidney’s father, and she pinned it to her bouquet in his honor and memory. <3

Gah, they are so lovely.
They also picked one of the top 3 wedding photographers’ wet dream venues. It’s looks amazing during the day and night and inside and out.

Oh this was so cute. They were showing grandma a picture they had up of her on her wedding day!

Yup, bridesmaid doing the worm and KILLING IT “Don’t Stop Believing” is always the most animated dance of the evening!
