This intimate wedding at Austin’s FREE Tuscan-inspired wedding chapel on the Wizard Academy (YEAH) campus turned from a gorgeous, antiquey, lacy, hill country affair to a kick-ass grilled-cheese-fueled outting on SoCo, then to a steakhouse reception where Tom’s daughter made a an adorable and memorable speech, culminating in an epic 80s hair-band reception at Speakeasy. This wedding had it all. Leave this new family some love in the comments section for their 1st anniversary!
Some of the vendors that made this wedding so awesome: Venue: Chapel Dulcinea • Reception: Perry’s Steakhouse • Concert venue: Speakeasy • Band: LC Rocks • Grilled Cheese delectables: Burro Cheese Kitchen
I love a couple with good shoes (and SOCKS, obviously), I gotta say.
This shot says it all, to me. Tom’s daughter just swooped in and picked up Tanya’s train as they walked out of the chapel as husband and wife. A new family is born 🙂
SoCo, home of Austin’s weird (in the touristy sense, but still wonderful).
All three of us were starving so we decided it was time for grilled cheese sandwiches. Because you can do that on your wedding day. It’s YOURS. Thanks, Burro!
The pictures of Tanya and Tom in their awkward middle school years, ESPECIALLY Tom’s, were priceless. Scroll down to see the best one…wait for it…
After some toasts, Tom revealed a beautiful quilt that his grandmother had made for their new family.
BAM there it is. Also, that’s Tom’s daughter doing push-ups. Yup.
Tanya, Tom, and LC Rocks!
