This vibrant and down-to-earth wedding celebration was fairly DIY and super fly, and I can’t say I’ve ever seen a groom give a disco ball competition. They had a royal purple cake – yum – and their last dance was to “Pony”. Kate and Kawika met when they weren’t looking for anything serious and they were both in denial for awhile about what was happening between them, but before they knew it they were planning a future together. Sometimes it just sneaks up on you. And I think their future looks very shiny.
Happy 1-year anniversary! <3 Check out their engagement session here – heads up that it involves a painting of something eating a turtle while they suck face.
